Re: Iron Man 3
***********SPOILERS***********
I loved it. I loved the elements it drew from, even if it decided that Man-Things serum was Extremis.
The Mandarin, I was loving, better than Ledger's Joker, then they did the bait and switch which left me feeling very uncomfortable. However, I respected that Magic elements in the Marvel Cinema Universe is more for Thor than Tony, which is why I can understand the lack of Magic Rings, although that's the point of the Mandarin in the Comics. (Magic vs Science.)
I liked the idea of the Iron Legion, even though they were unmanned, but it gave me a sense of the drones Whiplash was making, they seemed cheap and mass produced, and respected that they were not all combat suits and that Tony was exploring the idea of making these suits for the general public, much as how he pulled Stark Industries away from Military contracts.
I felt there was great character development, all around, and loved that they showed a self imposed exile Tony use his brain to over-come the situations much like he did in the first. I didn't like how he went all assassins creed in the lead up to meeting "Trevor," as that seems out of character, but it showed he isn't the coward we were lead to believe him to become after the events of The Avengers. (Such as creating the suits for remote control to keep him out of harms way.)
***********END SPOILERS***********
I could bang on more, and would love to discuss this topic here, if others are wanting too. I'd give it an 8.5, despite changes, because change is good.

Re: Iron Man 3
I thought it was pretty great. Didn't like the end fight scene.
P.S why were his suits so weak? They broke into pieces so quickly.

Potentially massed produced by a sleep deprived Tony, who never intended for them to come up against "Extremis" soldiers, especially with some of the gadgetry on them. The suit with two jack hammers for example.
Re: Iron Man 3
Good call. Also they are lacking Tony himself. You think he would have some impact on his suits staying together.

I dunno how true that is, as there were some he was wearing and they were getting torn to shreds during the last fight.
Re: Iron Man 3
Just saw the movie this week. "I know I'm late." Overall, I thought it was well done. Not better than the first and maybe better than the second Iron Man. The switch at the end bothered me a bit, but my biggest complaint was that there was more Tony Stark than Iron Man.
